4. SMS Messaging Privacy

RockSolid Data Solutions uses SMS messaging only for customer-care and service-related communications requested by the user. These messages may include responses to questions and updates related to active projects or requested services.

RockSolid also sends operational SMS alerts to staff members who separately provide their mobile number and enable missed-call notifications in the authenticated RockSolid Ops application. These alerts may include missed-call details, voicemail transcriptions, and secure RockSolid Ops links.

Information We Collect

When a user opts in to receive SMS messages, we collect the user's name and mobile phone number through our public SMS consent form at rocksoliddata.solutions/sms-consent, along with the user's consent record and information related to the requested customer-care communication.

How We Use SMS Information

We use the user's mobile phone number solely to send customer-care and service-related text messages, such as responses to questions, updates about active projects, and information about requested services.

We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages, and we do not use SMS messaging for cold outreach, purchased contact lists, third-party lead generation, or promotional mass messaging.

Consent

Opting in to receive SMS messages is optional and is not required to receive our services or make a purchase. The public SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default and must be affirmatively selected before the dedicated SMS sign-up form can be submitted.

Staff SMS notifications are also optional. Staff members opt in by entering their own mobile number and enabling an off-by-default missed-call SMS toggle in Phone Settings, and may disable the setting at any time. Mobile Information Sharing

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share mobile information with service providers only when necessary to operate our messaging service and deliver requested customer-care communications. These service providers are not permitted to use the information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on the user's customer-care request, active project, or requested service. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out and Getting Help

Users may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages at any time. After opting out, the user will no longer receive SMS messages unless the user opts in again.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
